AIM 7 Beta is our latest version of the AIM software. This update includes a number of changes we think you'll love: a new look and feel, modification of how messaging works, quicker, easier and more ready access to your status message, bigger buddy icons, tools to create your own custom icon and much more.
There was a minor release change for the Beta 1 build of AIM earlier this evening changing versions from 7.0.3.16 to 7.0.3.17 to address an issue with AOL Toolbar. Please note, there are no new features in this almost identical build. If you've already downloaded AIM 7, it's not necessary to install this update.

AOL 9.5 Refresh Beta 9 is now available. This beta addresses a few issues that improve performance as well temporarily disables error handling in an effort to provide you and us with greater insight about any issues you may see.

Testers: please be aware that Microsoft released a Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer on June 9, 2009. This update addresses a number of important security issues and may likely resolve some issues you have reported.
We highly encourage everyone, particularly IE 8 users, to get this update through Windows Update. Need more details? Find our more from Microsoft.
